Cowaramup Wedding at Edwards Winery.
Wedding days can often be crazy, even the best-made plans can go out the window. However, every so often, you have days like this one. Where the stars align and everything happens effortlessly.
It started when we arrived at the Grooms house in Gracetown, Corey and his gents, (and Andi) were all dressed and ready to go (I think a little credit needs to go to the Best Maid Andi!)
The mood was calm and relaxed, a few quick portraits and a few quick cheers’ later and we were on our way to check in on the ladies.
We made our way through the valleys and vineyards and eventually arrived at the beautiful Edwards Winery in Cowaramup. The girls are relaxed and calm, and Jess, our bride is almost ready to put her dress on. Outside, the guests are starting to arrive and the location for the lawn ceremony is looking spectacular, with views sweeping across the valley. We get capture a special moment where Jess is writing down some last minute notes.
A beautiful, intimate ceremony was conducted by Jen Burrows on the hillside at Edwards Winery. With Jess and Corey now official, they are introduced to their loved-ones as husband and wife. Wedding guests are greeted and the occasion is celebrated with champagne and refreshments.
Following the congratulations and some formal family portraits, the time had arrived to head off with our newlyweds out for an intimate portrait session. This is our favourite part of any wedding day. This is when the magic happens!
The rolling hills of Cowaramup were bathed in stunning golden light. We were almost overwhelmed with the amount of perfect photography locations on the estate, totally spoilt for choice.
A vintage tiger moth, Matilda, which finds her home at Edwards Winery, provided an opportunity for some classic portraits. We wandered the grounds of Edwards capturing cute moments, before finding ourselves in the most beautiful vineyard setting with Jess and Corey. Time to pop a bottle of champagne and soak it all in, as the sun sets across the valley. Ah, perfection!
Jess and Corey celebrated the evening with a long-table reception under the stars at Edwards, and special mention must go to Lainy and her team from Margaret River Events Co. who made sure the guests were kept happy and full of great food and Margaret River wine.
