Set in the Private Estate Grand Vin, this luxurious Cowaramup wedding has it all. From a beautiful ceremony with views of the vineyard and lake, to an awesome marquee reception by the lake.
When we were contacted by wedding planner Kirstin Zan from Events by Kirstin to be on board for his day, we knew it was going to be great! Cowaramup locals were well represented with Makeup by Beautique Love, Styling by Empire Events, Blooms by Flowers for Mrs Harris.
Amy prepared for the day in Gracetown in a house with views of the bay. Jarrad styled himself at the Grand Vin main house.
The guest arrived at Grand Vin and were treated to a sweet acoustic set from local band Salt Tree. There were so many options for a ceremony location on this private estate and the couple nailed it. Exchanging their vows under the shade of the shade of the gum trees that overlooked the lake and the vineyard. It was a perfect backdrop.
Amy and Jarrad shared a love for Gracetown. On their wedding day, the wild wind did not stop them from walking the goat trails, and climbing rocks. We love a bride who isn’t afraid of getting her hair messy. My fingers started to freeze so we decided to move to our next location.
On our way back to Grand Vin we passed one of our favourite paddocks. Shannon and I had always chatted about how awesome a bride and groom would look in the paddock and Amy and Jarrad were keen. Empty paddock, long grass, setting sun, kangaroos on the hill. The happy couple walked through the paddock, we took photos and it was bliss. Just as we had imagined.
Amy had one last surprise up her sleeve for us. She told us they had some dance moves and we were ready. What I didn’t expect was to see Amy, gracefully flying through the air with Jarrad! For me, this has to be the best dance shot I have captured. It was the perfect finish to an amazing day.
