We first met Emma and Dan 18 months ago when Shannon and I photographed their wedding (look here!). They were such a laid back, down to earth couple and we were so happy to share their wedding day with them. (Plus I have a soft spot for a barefoot bride)
We were so humbled and honoured when we received and email from Emma on their one year anniversary letting us know that they were expecting their first child and they would like us to photograph the birth.
I didn’t need anytime to think it over. What an amazing opportunity to witness life being bought into this world and being able to document it in their family home. My only fear, was I going to be able to keep my emotions in check and not cry my way through the whole experience!!
Words cannot describe this experience. Emma and Dan, you are amazing, and little Elle is so blessed to have you two as her mum and dad. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for allowing us into your home and sharing this moment with you. Welcome Earth-side Elle! <3
