This Esperance Farm wedding will go down as one of our most memorable wedding days.
Esperance showed us you can really have four seasons in one day and Krystin and Nick embraced it all.
The day started super hot and there was talk about a big storm coming. Thankfully, it held off until just after Krystin and Nick’s first kiss. Literally. Like 2 seconds after they kissed, the biggest, rain drops I have ever experienced.
Fortunately these guys embraced the weather and were happy to keep taking photos. We only decided to call it a day when the lightning strikes in a paddock where we were taking photos seemed to be getting a little too close.
Later at reception, lightning hit and blew out the power to the reception, midway through speeches.
Within 5 minutes, these legendary farmers had the generator set up and power was restored to the party.
Krystin and Nick describe the day as,
“Eventful! A day we will never forget. Extreme heat, lightning, rain, wind, power outage and the most beautiful night dancing in the rain. The best day of our lives. Being able to share our day with all our loved ones. Even though nothing went to plan, its what made it so perfect!”
We agree Krystin, it was a perfect day.
