This was one of those weddings that just elevated to another level. We were so fortunate to be involved in such a special, meaningful day. Cherie and George’s Busselton wedding held at Old Broadwater Farm was about to knock our socks off. A bohemian styled celebration, the vision of our beautiful bride Cherie. Her attention to detail was nothing short of spectacular.
Guests gathered under the big tree at Old Broadwater Farm, anticipating Cherie’s arrival. The groom and his men waiting anxiously. The lovely Emma Dickson conducted a perfect outdoor ceremony. It was an intimate occasion with Cherie and Georges beautiful sons doing their best to steal the limelight.
Once the formalities were over, it was time for us to get creative.
We absolutely love adventurous couples, and this time we hit the jackpot. Cherie had an idea for a photo that included some animal masks. This was kept a secret from everyone, except us. We headed to the Tuart Forest just out of town in search of somewhere special for some private portraits. Picture giant pine trees and magical afternoon light. This recipe made for an almost surreal setting. Now insert our boho bride and dapper looking groom, along with some animal masks, and BOOM!
Thankfully, Cherie and George also shared our passion for abandoned houses and long grass. A unique opportunity to capture some amazing photos with a difference. The afternoon light spilling perfectly across the fields, it was a wedding photographers dream session. Two incredible portrait sessions locked away. It was now time to get back to the party.
Family and friends celebrated with a marquee reception back at Old Broadwater Farm. A highlight for the guests was definitely the dessert bar, especially the cupcake tower. And who can forget the romantic first dance under the stars!?
Finally, to top of an incredible evening, an intimate portrait session featuring the bohemian Tee Pee. Make sure you check out the incredible pictures!!
