We had been looking forward to photographing our first Solitaire Homestead Wedding for some time. Everything we knew about it was perfect for our style of wedding photography, the wide open spaces, the lake, the barn, Yallingup, and that ceremony location. The list goes on. An on.
Karyn and Oli chose to have an intimate celebration with just the right amount of guests. It was a beautiful lake-side ceremony in front of the amazing timber doors. The guests were kept comfortable on hessian covered hay bales. Who knew hay bales were so comfy!
Solitaire Homestead has everything a bride and groom (and a wedding photographer) needs so it made sense for us to stay on location. This allowed us to take our time exploring the property with Karyn and Oli. It also allowed our couple to spend time relaxing with their little son Lev. The guests enjoyed refreshments and games on the lawn in front of the barn.
The barn at Solitaire Homestead was the ideal setting for a rustic themed, country vibe wedding. Guests enjoyed tasty treats from Goanna Cafe & Gallery, the long tables with lush floral decorations and intimate lighting was set the mood for a special evening for our beautiful couple.
