After seeing the photos from Hannah and Brody’s pre-wedding photo session, I knew this was going to be a good wedding. Then, when Shannon and I went and checked out Wharncliffe Mill in Margaret River, my excitement levels went through the roof! This place had so much potential.
Family and friends all chipped in for this extreme makeover, turning the blank canvas of the mill into one of the best reception set-ups I have seen. Hannah and her friends created exquisite blooms from the truck load of flowers they had delivered to the Mill.
This wedding had a festival like atmosphere with most guests camping on the grounds and while the boys got ready in an onsite cabin, the girls opted for the luxury of Basildene Manor.
The ceremony took place in the amphitheatre deep in the bush at Wharncliffe Mill and was lead by the always fabulous Joanne Armstrong.
Hannah and Brody brought their most important witnesses to their marriage, their fur babies, who were by their side as they exchanged rings and their love for each other.
While the guests enjoyed lawn games, canapés and refreshments back at the mill, Hannah and Brodie snuck back to Basildene Manor where they shared a picnic courtesy of The Brewhouse and reflected on their amazing day. And then, when the light was just perfect, we took a few photos.
After dark, Brides and Grooms became Kings and Queens as the newly-weds enjoyed a banquet feast and danced the night away.
Hannah and Brody, thank you for letting us be your third and fourth wheel and sharing in your beautiful wedding day.
