Beauty in Edith Valley | Kristy and Andrew
Kristy and Andrew’s wedding at Edith Valley Function Centre, was the official start to our 2018/19 Wedding season and it was perfect!
“Our wedding day was easily the best and most magical day of our lives. We kept things quite traditional and simple, and let the surroundings and our amazing vendors do the rest.” – Kristy.
As wedding photographers, overcast and raining days are our favourite. Why?? Because they make the best photos. Add when a bride and groom that aren’t afraid to get a bit wet and the result is Kristy and Andrew’s magical day.
The rain held off for their ceremony and for Kristy and Andrew, this was their favourite part of the day. “For us the best part of the day was the ceremony. To have so much excitement in the lead up to that moment was amazing and to then look around to all of our family and friends and see their emotions is something that we will cherish forever.”
Our favourite part of the day was later in the afternoon. Shannon and I had eyed off a pile of logs as a location for some portraits of Kristy and Andrew and when the time had come to take these photos, it started to pour. We were so excited when Kristy and Andrew jumped out of the car and got romantic. We all got a little wet and muddy but it was so worth it!
Thank you Kristy and Andrew for being so awesome and trusting us with your photos. We had the best day.
